Team accounts are a Business feature.

As a Team Administrator, you have the ability to purchase and/or create accounts for your team. Let’s take a look at the steps required, starting with purchasing the type of lines you’ll need.

Purchase Lines

Follow these instructions to purchase local/toll-free lines for your team members. Keep in mind that you'll need to purchase a line for each team member you add to UberConference:

  • Navigate to My Team from your profile drop-down
  • Under Account, click on Add Licenses
  • Enter the # of Local and/or Toll-Free lines you wish to purchase
  • Confirm the charges to your account

Under Account, you’ll see the newly purchased licenses listed.

Next, you’ll need to create your team members accounts.

Create Accounts

Follow these instructions to create accounts for your team members:

  • Navigate to My Team from your profile drop-down
  • Under Account, click on Create Accounts

You’ll be presented with two choices:

  • Create your employee's’ accounts
  • Employees create their own accounts

Create Your Employee’s Accounts

If you select this option:

  • Administrator specifies the employee’s sign up email and conference # area code
  • Employee receives welcome email with ability to set their own password

Employees Create Their Own Accounts

If you select this option:

  • Employee receives invitation email
  • Employee specifies their sign up email and conference # area code
  • Employee sets their own password

In either case, you’ll be able to:

  • Review the # of Local and Toll-Free lines you have available
  • Enter the Employee’s Name, Email, Account Type (Local or Toll-Free #), and Area Code.

UberConference Tip: Our support team can add an additional Notes field on your Invite Team screen.

If you have a large number of employees to create/invite, we suggest uploading a CSV file.

CSV Files and Creating Accounts

In order to upload a CSV file to create your team accounts, make sure that the CSV is formatted exactly as shown below:

Joan Sim jo@go.io standard 415 Note*
Jack Finn ja@go.io tollfree   Note*

Keep the following in mind:

  • Don’t include headers in your CSV file (like Name or Email)
  • License types should either be standard or tollfree
  • Click here to review a full listing of area codes
  • Typos will cause an error in the invitation being sent
  • Toll-Free lines do not require an area code (just leave it blank)
  • *Send a request to our support team to include Notes (like Cost Center, etc.)

Additionally, your spreadsheet program should export CSV files with commas (,) separating the values. If not, be sure to change that setting to commas (,) instead of a semicolon (;) or any other delimiter.
